We ordering catering for HSSM for a parent event. We are on the 4th floor of a high school and the deliver person refused to come inside to bring in the food. We ordered about 450$ worth of food. Thankfully, i was able to gather a few teachers to help me. We all enjoyed the food however would of been more memorable if the uber driver who was hired by this restaurant could of been more accomodating.

Sazón Perez is a true hidden gem, an authentic Dominican hole-in-the-wall with amazing food and that real home-cooked feel. The selection is vast, and everything behind the counter smelled incredible. I had the roasted half chicken, and it was perfectly seasoned and juicy. The rice and beans, chivo (goat), and beef stew were all flavorful and cooked just right, seriously comforting food that hits the spot. The ambiance is fast-paced and casual, catering mostly to the working crowd from around the area. Seating is extremely limited, so it’s best to plan on taking your food to go. That said, the staff was friendly and accommodating, especially if it’s your first time or you need help deciding what to order. If you’re looking for authentic Dominican food that’s full of flavor and served up quick, Sazón Perez is absolutely worth a visit.
